🔥 All-Inclusive 30-Day Stay for MI Classmates: Stress-Free Arrival & Accommodation

4 spots reserved. 2 spots left

Price

$1600 per person for the 30-day stay. This covers accommodation in a 2-bedroom, 1 living room, and 2 full-bathroom property. The cost is comparable to a two-week stay at nearby hotels, ensuring great value even if you don’t stay the entire month.

What You Will Get

Arrival Assistance and Housing

  1. 30-day stay: Accommodation for 8 people in a fully furnished property with 2 bedrooms, 1 living room, and 2 full bathrooms. Even if you find other housing early on, many places are only available after specific dates (in my case 10/14 or 10/22), so this stay ensures flexibility.
  2. Airport Pickup or Public Transportation Guidance: Let me know when you arrive, and I’ll arrange a pickup at the airport (cost: $10–$30). If a pickup is not available and you choose to take an Uber (cost: $45–$65), please note that Ubers are not allowed to pick up directly at LAX. You will need to take a shuttle to the designated pickup area, and I’ll guide you to the designated pickup area to ensure everything goes smoothly.
  3. Location: 1942 Highland Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90068 (10 min walk to MI)

Upon Arrival

  1. All Basic Utilities: Including toothbrush, dental floss, cotton swabs, hangers, towels, toiletries, shampoo, and conditioner, etc.
  2. Temporary Food Supplies: Cereal, milk, instant noodles, etc., to make sure you don’t go hungry while getting familiar with the area. (Some items are limited in quantity, but I will restock them weekly.)
  3. Daily Care Items: Lotion, toner, makeup remover pads, sunscreen (the sun here is strong), and perfume (In case you have social events or outings early on.). These are travel-sized or shared among the group.
  4. Entertainment: I got some board games, so. lol (Take-6 and Trio)
  5. Washing Machine
  6. Access to Pool and Gym
  7. Local Map: Featuring nearby grocery stores, pharmacies, cafes, bars, and restaurants.

Housing and Moving Assistance:

  1. Accommodation Recommendations: Nearby housing recommendations, with feedback from friends who’ve lived in local apartments (all of which I can personally introduce you to my experience and my friend’s experience).
  2. Roommate Introductions: Most people staying here will also be looking for housing. If you get along well, you could potentially become roommates (Roommates are highly recommended in LA to save on costs, 2B2B vs studio, estimate saving $500~1000 USD).
  3. Transportation Guide: I’ll provide details on how to navigate public transportation and introduce you to car rental brands/insurance (if you are planning to go to a trip, this will be handy).
  4. Amazon Prime Assistance: I can help you order items through Amazon Prime to save on shipping and ensure faster delivery (2 days fast shipping). It will be handy when you need to buy lots of stuff upon moving into a new place. Also, I have a plan to buy necessities together. Listed in the bottom.

Q&A

1. Will it be too crowded with 8 people?

Not really. The space is designed for 8 people with 2 bedrooms, 1 living room, and 2 full bathrooms, so it’s manageable. I just returned from a trip where we had 5 people sharing a bedroom, and it felt pretty decent. With the shared living space and amenities here, it should be comfortable for everyone.

2. Is it really $1600 * 8 for the total cost?

Yes and no. The rent is almost that much, but I’ve also prepared extra services to ensure a high-quality experience. The extra money helps me cover things like buying additional essentials and arranging pickup services.

3. Would living on my own be cheaper?

The rent is close to $1600 per person, but I’ve also included extra services to improve your arrival experience, such as airport pickup and basic necessities. If you were to rent a place nearby, it would likely cost around $3000–$4000 for two weeks, and these options often don’t include a kitchen or laundry facilities. Even if you share the cost with someone, you’d still pay at least $1500 per person.

In addition, eating out in the U.S. is quite expensive, typically costing around $20 per meal. Cooking at home is much cheaper, averaging about $5–$10 per meal. Staying here gives you the option to cook, which helps you save significantly on food expenses.

4. I’m still worried…

If you have any concerns, feel free to talk to me. My reputation and this project are closely tied, and I want to ensure you have a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
