Vision Setting and Action Framework

Reflection and Review

I last seriously considered my plans two months ago when I flew back to Taiwan and had the opportunity to thoroughly read “The 12 Week Year.” Unexpectedly, once the semester got busy, these plans were put aside. The website plans I initially wrote have become vague after a year, and I can barely remember what I wrote.

To truly drive progress, I will reset my goals and adopt “The 12 Week Year” methodology, focusing on short-term objectives and ensuring execution. I’ll no longer let plans remain merely at the conceptual stage.

Major Goals Recap

Financial Goal: Create sufficient stable income ($7,000) during my spare time or earn enough to cover my next four years at Berklee. This will allow me to continue happily studying music in the United States.

Personal Achievement Goal: Prove to myself that I can complete an entire entrepreneurial cycle over an extended period and truly create interesting things. Learn how to prioritize and bring dreams to reality.

Focus Direction: Deep Dive into n8n

For the next 12 weeks, my focus will be extending my recent research into n8n. I’ve already developed the capability to build several good backend services:

1. Ability to connect web backends for data processing and AI content generation
2. Ability to create “character profiles” with scripts that enable regular, scheduled posting on Threads

The design concept of n8n aligns well with my inclination toward developing automation software. Therefore, I hope these 12 weeks will utilize my automation software development experience, marketing knowledge, and monetization ideas to create a tangible product. My focus areas will be:

1. Develop software and complete potential monetization projects/bots
2. Upload templates to earn official influencer status and potentially reach the Leaderboard rankings as an initial credential
3. Write articles targeting potential n8n audiences and implement affiliate marketing monetization processes

Of course, this isn’t yet a detailed enough plan. I will create a more detailed 12-week structural plan.

Here are projects I’m interested in trying but will temporarily set aside to maintain focus:

1. Collaborate with an influencer to launch stickers using my Midjourney and GPT subscriptions as an initial POC to verify feasibility and evaluate benefits
2. Evaluate whether to continue my automatic PromptBase product listings
3. Study Lenny’s newsletter to learn how skilled writers craft their content
4. Research how good blog posts are written and draft a structure for my future projects
5. Research Threads and newsletters to determine an exposure channel/system
6. Launch a simple SaaS service as a test
7. Create a small game
8. Develop an app

I’ll work on these secondary projects during leisure time when I might otherwise be unproductive.
