Lots of people are getting into / starting to learn ChatGPT.
The Pro plan costs $200, which I can’t afford. So I did some research: are there people sharing their accounts?
If it’s $20 per person, 10 people would cover the $200. If I can get more people paying and using the same account together, each additional person adds $20 per month.
Of course, there’s a lot of risk in this non-conventional approach.
But I still posted some ads on different forums.
Turns out, many people were looking for the Plus plan instead of the Pro plan. The Pro plan group failed, but I successfully found a bunch of people to share a Plus plan.
$5 per person. I found 8 people in one day. That’s $40, which gives me an extra $20. But I didn’t take it for myself—I let everyone know I’d save that money and put it back for them.
The reason for this approach is simple: $20 (or even $200) isn’t going to make me rich. But this system benefits my customers, and I can earn their trust. One true fan is way more valuable than a couple of bucks.
If I successfully find up to 20 people, that’s $80 of income into the system per month, which means I can buy the Pro plan every three months. And if I manage to get my hands on the Pro plan, it will also become my edge.
This little project is just scratching the itch of my startup blood. Beyond my music practice journey, it’s about being able to create a system that works—one that I can spend just a little time nurturing and turn into one of my tiny successes.
