Today is the first day of actual class. Start to have serious theory and homework. It is a bit hard for me in theory class, I count the scale degree really slow and people seems to get it fast.
I start my day by face caring, shaving, brushing, etc. Practice for an hour, half an hour practicing basics, and half an hour practice for songs. After that, taking a bunch of classes. Throey, Ear Training, Private, and, ENSEMBLE. Ensemble class is the best, playing and jamming with bunch of random people.
My biggest weakness right now is I can’t spice the chords up. simple bar chord is SO BORING and never enough in a jam band.
At night, go to the jam session with Casey. We almost have a band right on sight. but sadly we didn’t find a bass player 🙁 After that, I go back to my dorm and write some homework 🙂
and of course, some late-night jam in 270.
