After breakfast, I had a solfeg performance. It was absolutely ridiculous but so much fun—a pure joy.

It made me realize, when playing music, you shouldn’t be nervous; just maintain this happy mindset.
I had my private lesson after, and it was a solid final half-hour class with my teacher.
Today I have my first ensemble performance. It had the right vibe! Although I did mess up a little in one spot, my solo was much better than during practice!

After dinner, I went to BPC to watch a show. The performance tonight was truly amazing—it almost made me cry. On the way back, I ran into Bella and Edgar and hung out with a group of Dominicans for a bit. They were all speaking Spanish, which I couldn’t understand, but they were such sweet people, and the atmosphere was great. Deniala was especially beautiful, like a doll. Their family had an aristocratic air to them, with one elegant grandmother with white hair. When they left, I got lots of Dominican-style hugs.
Finally, back at the dorm, I spent another lovely chill time in the basement lounge with everyone. I think I might cry when I leave the day after tomorrow—for the first time ever due to a separation (I’ve never cried at graduations or camps before). (Oh no, I’m already tearing up just thinking about it now!)
