Day 19. Performance Rehearsal, Summer Camp Admission

I hoped to feel better today, but sadness still lingers. Despite this, I completed my tasks.

Following my last performance, I’m determined to improve my skills and reduce errors in future shows. This time, I’ve started preparing much earlier. And have made it a success to be the most prepared musician in the room.

After the rejection of Berklee

The rejection hit me hard, more than I expected, given the effort I poured into this. After spending a couple of days mulling it over, I’ve come to a few personal conclusions.

First, I’ve had to remind myself that each opportunity, like admission, is a roll of the dice. Relying too heavily on these chances can lead to disappointment. I need to see opportunities like Berklee not as career-defining moments but as explorations. They shouldn’t have the power to dictate my career’s direction.

Second, despite the sting of rejection, my journey in building my brand doesn’t stop here. This setback has only sharpened my focus and determination. I’ll channel this pain, using it as a tool to drive me harder than before.

Lastly, I’ll avoid settling for “just enough.” In future opportunities, I aim to go above and beyond, ensuring I leave no room for doubt.

What I’ve done today.

  1. ✔️ Guitar Practice
  2. ✔️ Summer Camp Admission
  3. ✔️ Musician Institute Admission
  4. ❌ Bangkok Video Edits
