Day 199. A Quiet Return to Focus

a random video when hanging out with Pon.

Morning Journal:

Today’s focus is to simplify and be more intentional in life. The goal is to stay present and immerse myself in one task at a time without feeling rushed or anxious. Let’s see if I can approach my tasks calmly and comfortably.

Night Journal:

It’s currently 3 AM on 9/23. I managed to practice guitar for four hours today and catch up on two overdue journal entries. 🎉 Finally, after a chaotic period, I’ve had a day where everything on my to-do list got done.

In the next couple of days, I’ll need to start packing up my Pasadena place and prepare to move into my new Airbnb. It’s bound to be another whirlwind, but I’m excited to relocate to a livelier area! The suburban quiet here was making me restless; I definitely thrive better in a bustling city like Taipei.

As for my music practice today, I continued with last week’s progress. I can sense that my understanding and retention are improving with each review. This should help solidify my memory even further.

However, I regret not carving out time for more creative exploration in music. I’ll make that a priority soon.

Tomorrow, I’ll finalize my Airbnb orders and get everything ready.

Lastly, I’ve been using the travel cards I brought with me as small daily motivations or sources of inspiration—maybe they can continue to spark some positivity each day.
