a confetti for the website!
It’s not really a productive day. Most of the time I’m learning how to use WordPress.
Few goals for today.
- Edit my video for the Bangkok Audition trip
- Reason: Figure out video editing / youtube workflow for the future
- The first video for demonstrating my work. Will be my business card for 2~5 collab.
- Guitar Practice
Notes
- Bangkok video.
- meta concept.
- youtube’s algorithm: click rate, retention rate.
- thumbnails (for click rate)
- storytelling (for retention rate)
- meta concept.
What’s I’ve done today / Retropective.
- Write Day 1 Post.
- ❌ Didnt manage to edit the video
- Made this button for my website… ⤵️
It maybe a waste of time but it’s cool…
How I made this?
I use WPCode to insert code on my page (through ShortCode) and than add everything through javascript. So it is reusable and simple enough to prevent any chaotic in the future.
All the code are from this codepen
See the Pen Emoji Confetti by Daniel Morrison (@djdmorrison) on CodePen.
(for developer: the positioning in default code is for entire website, if you want to made cafetti follow the button like I do, you need to tweak it, e.g. make the button position: relative.)
I dig in couple of wp-plugin and codepen, there are some interesing one.
- I really like this one but its too complex.

2. Chaotic one

3. If you just need a whole screen celebration affect, there is a plugin will do the charm.
Decisions
- Abort the plan to record behind the scenes. / Daily progress vlog. its too time consuming. Writing content and diary here fits my habit more.
