Several days ago, I ran into this post that a man was rejected due to his grades in school. It hit me hard, cause I also have really bad grades in school. I don’t even bother to write emails to ask if I’m rejected because of my grades because I know that it definitely is a big reason.
I feel my life is totally screwed. Years ago, I chose to focus on building something meaningful instead of academic performance. Although I’ve achieved a few minor successes, I’ve yet to secure a decisive victory.
Institutions or any exclusive community like Berklee seek the best candidates for their community, and my academic history seems to disqualify me automatically. Yet, I’ve set high expectations for myself, and the thought of just settling and admitting defeat is something I’m not ready to consider. My ego and pride won’t allow it, and the very thought terrifies me. After the world falls apart, people closest to you betray you at this very specific moment. No blame to anyone, they may also be suffering, too. Still, I constantly felt myself crying in deep of my heart recently.
Calm down, and think logically. All the failures have brought me here. One only needs one decent success to own advantage. Which is what I’m building right now. Be patient, be kind to oneself.
Despite all these, today finally finished my MI admission document and was able to clear out this big task on my to-do list. and move on to spend more time on this brand
My First Ever Collaborative work is out!
I FINISHED IT!!!!! This one is working with @xienuonuo1203, a random girl I found on Instagram. Taking her symmetrical clips and put Pat Metheny’s Etude 1 that I’ve been working on. Finalize with my own video and edit.
Trying out AI Generative expansion, and it works! also, that opening text has Wes Anderson Vibe, I love it!

001 | Symmetrical in Taiwan
Taiwan is the place I was born and loved. several months later I’m going to leave. Leaving a trail, a piece of cookie on my Instagram board.
This is my first collaborative content. A first experiment on my collaborative brand. Since day one, this brand has aimed to be as collaborative as possible. inspired and create not only from other’s creativity but also be a platform with love and wholesome.
This piece also experiments with the generative expansion tool in Photoshop. which also is a crucial part of my future project.
The world is harsh, people closest to you may betray you when they are also suffering. I wish there would be a place they everyone could choose their own life, their own goals, their own challenges.
