Day 37. Reseting Day 2: Next Phase Goal Setting. (important one.)

Yesterday, I decided to separate my task to three categories.

1. Guitar Practice: Daily training and performance preparation.
2. Brand Building: Building a 7-figure music business.
3. Brand Marketing: Fuel up the gas of growth.

The purpose of this change is to gain a clear visualization of how much time I spend on each and make sure I’ve spent enough time on building.

Setting Goal for the Next Phase

Last month, I built up my website, re-learning video editing through several practice vlogs and a Bangkok vlog video. Finish the process of Berklee admission and have been rejected, and have applied for MI. Have finished a performance and prepared for an upcoming performance.

Overall, I have got decent tiny success even though there have been lots of struggles time.

Next Phase, the goal will be set to “Own the ability to create minimal viable product.” Which means I have to get used to producing. and generate ideas in a musical way. The chase of visual creativity will temporarily stop. Wait until I have enough good music content and variety.

• ➡️ Produce Short Pieces of Music.
  • Task 1: Experiment with what kind of music I want to produce. Beats? (Tom Misch), Arrangement? (Some fellow youtuber), Cover? (Lots of people do it), Practicing clips? My future goal is to collab with different kinds of artists, so “original music” and experimental sound may be crucial.
  • Task 2: Figure out what style should I focus on in the early stage.
  • wish, Task 3: Experiment with my vocal.
• ➡️ (optional) Start Posting Daily Content for at least 30 days.
  • Task 1: Collect practice pieces and write down a posting plan/schedule.
  • * may need more planning on this one, this is more marketing relative. and it is not a crucial task now.

Let’s set the next phase to 30~60 days. Need to have several outcomes:

• 4 music pieces, with different styles or approaches to experiment my favor.
• another 3 music pieces, dedicated to a style. should be the outstanding one from the previous experiment.
• 1 video content, my final project of this phase. should be very similar to the video I want to make in the future.
• (optional) 2 more experiment video

THE ESSENTIAL 20%: Every popular artist has their own sound.

Style Research: 3 Instagram reels.

(these are more marketing content than the actual product of my brand)

Goal: Set a style that has the potential to recreate.

My old research has way too much video editing. those are great, and definitely a future plan, but for now I need to focus on pure music content creation.

3. This one has an even complex story going on. Quotes, music, story hidden in the movement. Link

Bonus: This account is absolutely a masterpiece. I could learn the concept and set the goal to this level of aesthetic. Link
