Edute progress:
For my daily Edute, instead of creating random lines, I feel it’s better to set limitations and goals. for example, arpeggio only? guide tone? Charlie Parker Style?
It’s a really good chance to study from the greatest. Not just random creating.
Daily Etude:
write a solo on a 12 bar chord progression to practice improvisation.
Notes for reel ideas.
Set a goal, for example, 10 days of charlie parker line. learning a series of lessons each day, and making documentation and explanations.
Also, I can provide a list of good improvisation learning materials! to gain followers.
For example, Rick Beato’s class for Charlie Parker is a really good video to see how others analyze.
If it is too complex for you, there is a really simple video that teaches about the basic “Guide Tone”, “Target Notes”, and “Forward Motion.”
